About Us

Background:

Like many of you, I was introduced to fishing at a young age. I quickly became obsessed with lures and was "hooked" on finding the perfect lure.

After years of stalking the aisles of local bait shops and big name retailers I realized I had enough. No longer would I spend hours on finding the right lure just to flip it into a tree... From then on I was determined to do the opposite. Flip trees into baits. 

In 2015, I began building wooden fishing lures for personal use. I was able to catch some of my personal best fish with these lures. The obsession that once was buying blossomed into building and I was hooked all over again.

After spending some time in Northwestern Ontario as a dockhand and professional fishing guide, I would begin to invest my earnings in building lures and equipment to improve processes.

Now in 2020, we offer handmade wooden fishing lures to the public with the incorporation of Landit Lure Co. Ltd.

How we work:

All lures are currently hand crafted by Orlando Zecca (President). If you wish to place an order the best way to do so is to contact us via email (orlando.zecca@hotmail.com) or through or facebook/instagram accounts @landitlureco.

I regularly make baits and will post them for sale. However, I will say there is something about a truly custom lure that gets everyone excited so please do not hesitate to reach out. If there is a lure(s) that you are interested in but it is out of stock- again, please reach out to us and we will get your order sorted out.

Orders made in the city of Brantford, ON qualify for reduced shipping rates @ $4.00 within 11km of our office. Local deliveries will be personally handled by Landit Lure Co. Pick-ups can be arranged for special circumstances.
